Kash and Sevan, for their work on divan untanglement theory and mattress portals! 👏🎉

Oh My Goodness

Their work is not only theoretical. It has been tested in the real world. An excellent proof of this theory in action took place in a location in Southall where Mrs S had a divan bed to be moved to an upstairs bedroom.

It turned out that space had already been cleared for her hospital bed and the divan and mattress were now in the dining room. Their fate was entangled with a cupboard full of clothes in a first floor bedroom, which Mrs S said had to move downstairs for the bed to take it's place. Kash and Sevan's many years of experience of GoodGym missions told them that there was no way to move and reconstruct the wardrobe and move the bed in 90 minutes.

Instead, Kash and Sevan devised a novel technique to make free space in the bedroom while the wardrobe was still in place. By untangling the 2 tasks, the bed move was finished in record time and the mattress portal was then used to transport it to the floor above.

That left time to help Mrs S with some decluttering, leading to a large bag of odds and ends being thrown away and some clothes donations for Ealing Soup Kitchen. Kash ran home with the donations, including a hat and scarf that Mrs S had knitted herself.
