It was a pleasure to be able to help P out with a spot of shopping. She only needed a few bits but loves her cups of tea and so needed quite a bit of milk, which she now has.

We're all going through so much at the moment, so to see an amazing lady like P, who has had major surgery for cancer on no less than two occasions and has had a fair few other challenges as well, is really humbling especially when she is so upbeat.

It was a pleasure to be able to help her and for her to know that there are people out there who are willing to help those in need. It didn't take me more than an hour of my time but the smile I saw on her face at the door is worth so much to me and it's why I volunteer for Good Gym.
