Wednesday = Goodgym Colchester We met at Leisure World as usual, for a proper cold night and a long run to St Leonards. 13 Goodgymers showed up ready to run, and we made our way up Balkerne Hill and along Lexden Road to St Leornard's Church to meet Church Warden, David.

More runners than tools, but we made our start on clearing leaves from the footpaths both on the Church yard and on Church Lane. Meanwhile Tav and Fay made their way to the top of the church spire to view the bell and the clock.

When Fay and Tav had come down from their historical tour of the church, the other runners were almost finished with the task, so they came outside to chivvy them along and help get the tools back inside before we posed for photos. We then lost Michelle and Fay to the Bellfry!

A nice quick task was followed by a long run back to Leisure World, before a few of us met in the pub for a drink. We'll be having our Christmas Dinner there, but were sad to find the piano that Emily was planning to play Christmas songs on, isn't really a piano at all.
