This was a first GoodGym social visit for Mrs B. She doesn't have any close family, and as she is now housebound she gets quite lonely. Mrs B has lived in Maidenhead for over 50 years, and has many stories to tell. Apparently Skindles Hotel used to be the place to be at weekends, and the toffs used to house their mistresses in 'Gaiety Row' (now River Road), and led to the phrase 'Are you married, or are you from Maidenhead?'! How times have changed!
