So here we have it, the end of the first and best ever GoodGym Brent for the year of 2015. There's been a lot of laughter, a lot of do-gooding and more squats than you can shake a tail-feather at. To see the year out with one last bang, was a mixture of old and new faces and some faces that came out of special retirement just for us, all raring to go for one last jaunt around the fair borough of Brent.

it seems like there's a pink unicorn flying above us, watching us GoodGymers do our good deed...... (think Sadhana has been on the xmas sherry already)

Learned about buying clothes from Dan en route to a charming bistro that, despite serving brisket, bare no continuity to its name sake. There was literally zero - "Jane Austen" memorabilia anywhere..... WTF!! Where is the sense (and sensibility?)

We discovered you can actually PULL anything.... people, pork, jackfruit.....PULL THE OTHER ONE Wise final words from Catherine, as we bid her farewell to her exciting new life in Taiwan!!

We sat under the gaze of the buffalo, a levitating buffalos head. Those eyes could see through your soul........(Laura sharing the Sherry with Sadhana perhaps?)

Replacing squats with sausages, burpees with brioche buns and HIIT with..... SIT; We reflected on the year and the wonder of GoodGym Brent. (In particular Hannah's allure with the residents of Ashford Place)

We had lots of great conversations about culture, family, Christmas....... Listening to Busta Rhymes and eating Austen's sandwiches. with the huge buffalo head looking down from the wall......(errrrmmmm Clairey-bell joining the sherry brigade now?)

And now for a lesson in French by the magnificent frenchie in residence Isabelle..... Ooh la la (Ellie says...... apologies for any typos!!)

Est-ce que le buffalo qui nous regarde est vrai au faux? La meilleure tache de ce soir était de rien avoir a faire! Simplement manoereh parler avec mes amis de GoodGym..... Le meilleur GoodGym de l'arnnee.

We've truly have become a little family this last year. Through rain and wind, sunshine and snow, we've braved the elements like warriors, never stopping, never complaining and always, always Do-Gooding. Friendships formed, leaders emerged and best of all formation of a set of real athletes, who can hill run with the best of them!

Thank you so much GoodGym Brent. See you back again in 2016 ready and raring to go, sprinkling new years cheer and our particular flavour of do-gooding magic for a whole load of deserving causes.
