On Saturday afternoon four seasoned GoodGymers met near Victoria park to give Mrs G a hand with her overgrown front garden. Beth and Patrick were fresh from a between missions brunch and Andy was so amazed that he had seen an Olympian at parkrun that morning that he'd forgotten to change into his GoodGym T shirt.

The garden is only small but it was becoming overrun by a bush in the corner and the plants around the front door were also getting a little unruly so we did our best to get them both under control with the tools on offer. The hour and a half that we were there flew by and at the end we had seven bags of cuttings to show for ourselves and Mrs G was very happy with how much lighter it was in the kitchen.

After initial concerns that we had let Mrs G's cat escape we confirmed it actually belonged to nextdoor and said our goodbyes before heading to the canal for a little ride, and good deed, on Andy's boat.
