Twice in one week! What a treat! It was lovely to be back with Karen & Maurice tonight for our second task of the week!
Tonight we were at Motherwell to help with some sorting. But before we got started, we donned our high-viz and headed out for a run. It was a chilly night tonight (but luckily, not so chilly that it was frozen!) as we headed out but we soon warmed up once we got going. We did 3km in total, skirting around the perimeter of our lovely Queens Park.
Once back at Motherwell, we set to work on the task of sorting out baby clothes. We sorted and then packed them into bags ready for them to be distributed. Some of the baby clothes were extremely cute and tiny! It was very rewarding to get all the clothes sorted and into bags.
No pub tonight unfortunately but it was lovely to catch up as always as we worked.
We never tire of helping Motherwell as it’s such an amazing charity and the work they do in the community is incredible. The turnover of clothes that they receive is huge, so sorting is a constant work in progress for them. It’s always good to be able to help.
Well done on another fantastic task!
Have a great week and look forward to seeing you all on Saturday at Parkrun!
Loads of love, Nicola xxx
