back to some normality

After a quick browse at the start of the week, today's target was to clear up the rubbish left behind by people using the fields to get some fresh air & exercise without getting too close to others.
To my surprise, someone else had had a similar thought - someone used a discarded compost bin to collect the rubbish and what is probably a steadily growing pile of little dog poo bags. Unfortunately that kind of bin hasn't got a bottom... so a 'proper' bin was sourced and the rubbish transferred.
Wandering randomly across the fields there was a pleasant lack of rubbish or dog poo found, most people do luckily look after their own mess.
A second bin was left at the other exit before finishing the checks and declaring the area safe. Perhaps for next time it might be an idea to bring some sheers and keep the pathway open - Mother Nature is happily taking advantage of the nice weather, everything seems to grow fast!
