Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by David Ewens
Mission three was another shopping task but with a twist, I already have her list from GoodGym.
So I have my bowl of lentils and gave myself 1 and half hours to complete this final mission. I cycled to save time to the large Tesco's in Brixton, with a large empty backpack at the ready.
I arrive at Tesco's (again) and my future prediction was correct there was a long queue going across and round the shop, all of us standing 2 meters apart. If took me 30 minutes to enter the shop and once I was in I got to work and got all the items from Ms H's list. I packed the goods into a Tesco carrier bag and into my backpack with packet of Mini Cheddar's on top because who wants to receive a packet of smashed up Mini Cheddars, not me.
I cycle uphill Brixton Hill, testing my legs and reach my destination. When I arrive to deliver Ms H's shopping she was surprised to see me as she received a phonecall in the morning to say that her shopping was not happening. Hopefully it was just a misunderstanding 🤞🏻.
I thoroughly enjoyed the cycle ride home especially as it was all down hill but I also enjoyed the drawings of rainbows drawn by kids displaying support for the NHS and sick.
If you do read this then please don't forget to step out and show support for our NHS tonight at 8pm. They've been incredible and hopefully we are some help to them.
Now time for me to wash, eat, and write three solo mission reports. 🤦🏻♂️😂.
