Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Gosia Rybacka
Ms J is moving to a sheltered accommodation soon and Ernestas and Gosia visited her home in Camden today to help in packing things up.
Ms J had already a "packing" plan dilligently written down on a piece of paper and she gave us quite precise instructions what needs to be done 📝.
We have started with emptying a wardrobe close to the front door - it was filled with clothes, umbrellas and a lot of bags with bags. Then there were even more bags within these bags with bags. I bag your pardon?
Well equipped with bags we moved to the bedroom and packed up bedding and clothes lying on the bed. After this was done, we emptied the wardrobe standing next to the bed. We have also found a significant amount of clothes there, which we carefully packed into the bags and piled up on the bed.
Then we found out that there was another wardrobe in the living room. We emptied that one as well, putting all stuff to the bedroom as instructed. The pile on the bed was getting bigger and bigger ⛰ but - as Ms J said - this shouldn't be a problem as the room will not be used until she moves out.
That was quite a workout and Ms J was really thankful for the help! She would like someone to help her out on Sunday morning as well, as this is the time when the collection van ⛟ arrives to move the stuff to the new place 🤗.
