Another Saturday and another batch of bananas saved from the bin (18kg of bananas to be precise) ! Plus some other bakery and veg from local supermarkets was shared with the community fridge in the library. It's surprising how quickly the food gets snapped up! Thanks to @Craig for sharing the banana load.
As above. We need volunteers to pick up surplus food from designated businesses and drop it off at the Community Fridge. Quantities of food can vary but we will aim to match individual volunteers to particular pick-ups. Pick-ups are usually in the morning and the fridge is open during library opening hours. We are primarily a sustainability initiative.

The MMAA has around 100+ tenants on both sites combined. The Mincinglake site currently has no shared facilities, and we have been trying to move forward with a project to create a wildlife area, an amenity shed, and a seating area for social acitivites.
