After turning up at the wrong road and having the door answered by a very confused man we made some calls and found we were supposed to be at a very similar sounding road, but alas, it was 20 minutes away. Not to worry, we thought, and on the bus we got, admiring the lovely neighbourhood and park that neither Laura nor Dennis had been to before.

We finally arrived, this time at the correct address and were warmly greeted (literally - it was lovely and warm inside!) by Mrs S' carer and OT. We were shown which bed to move and got to work moving things off of it before preparing for the lifting.

Much to our relief the bed was A LOT lighter than it looked and we very quickly got the mattress down the stairs first, followed by the bed. In under 20 minutes our mission was complete! After offering our tea-making services and anything else we could help with, they insisted they had everything under control and our mission was complete. Hopefully Mrs S' life will be easier now with a bed downstairs.

Great mission! Thanks so much for carrying on despite the mix-up about the address.
