On a very hot and humid day, 6 goodgym members ran to Foleshill Social Supermarket to give their grounds a good tidy up.

Tonight, we welcomed Ruvimbo to our goodgym community. Thank you for joining us and we hope to see you on another group run soon.

We took a leisurely pace tonight with lots of stops to keep us cool and comfortable in the heat. Thank you to Debora and Laura for sharing the back marking tonight.

Once we arrived at the centre, we were greeted by Helen, Simon and a little helper, who showed us the work that needed doing. Luckily it was in a more shady area of the grounds. We soon got to work on the overgrown brambles and foliage. John took on the fearsome brambles, while Ruvimbo and Lauradid a super job raking up the leaves and cutting things back. Meanwhile, Debora and Laura took on the wheel barrowing of the cuttings. After just 40 minutes of work, the grounds and paths were looking much safer for people to access the centre. Brilliant work everyone!

We have lots of events coming up soon with goodgym. Why not pop along to Junior parkrun this Sunday and help with the Junior parkrun? Sign up here.. https://www.goodgym.org/happenings/supporting-the-coventry-war-memorial-park-junior-parkrun-5b5b2d41-253b-455b-90fe-40ee3d8b832d
