Peter and I realised that today's task of dismantling a bed for Ms S and removing all the parts from her bedroom in preparation for a hospital bed to be delivered wasn't going to be a straightforward task once we were shown into Ms S's somewhat cluttered bedroom.

Not to be deterred, we quickly got to work removing all the items on the bed, and all the bedding, and balancing most of it as best we could on various other piles and hoping it wouldn't all come crashing down and bounce around the floor...at this point we were joined by an audience of cats, keen to see the show. We now had access to the bed frame and got to work.

Fortunately we came armed with sets of Allen keys, and quickly had the mattress removed and the frame and base dismantled and all moved out into the communal hallway in manageable sized parts. After a quick check with Ms S's daughter, we took all the pieces to the communal bin area ready for collection - at this points the cats drifted away, clearly realising the show was over for the day.
