During the regular pre-shopping conversation with Mrs M this morning, where she described a particularly challenging day she had yesterday involving late taxis, banks with limited opening hours, busy pharmacies and a mix of helpful and unhelpful people that tired her out, I made the comment "It's not easy being you!". (those of a certain age will recall a song by Kermit the Frog with a similar title..google it if you've never seen a puppet singing a ballad in a forest).

Continuing the green theme, Mrs M's list was heavily fruit and vegetable based today, including watermelon, pineapple, kiwi fruit, clementine, carrots and onions (both brown and red) and so as I walked back up the hill with trusty trolley in tow, I could only muse over what creations Mrs M has in store this week with such a mix of ingredients.
Or perhaps she did know the lyrics to the Kermit song after all...

It's not that easy bein' green;

Having to spend each day the color of the leaves.

When I think it could be nicer being red, or yellow or gold-

or something much more colorful like that.

Love your music-themed run reports Nick - and I'm sure you cheered Mrs M up a load too.
