Must admit I was pretty happy to see a mission notification come up for 0km away - although it's always good for running or cycling motivation to have a bit of distance to travel, there are also advantages to arriving within 5 minutes of setting off. Leo's trip was a bit longer and also impeded by fire engines blocking the road for reasons that were not completely clear (no raging fires anywhere to be seen thankfully).

Anyway, we were at Mrs L's to give her a hand clearing up after she'd had some work done in her back garden - unfortunately in removing the garden waste, quite a bit of it had been been dropped outside the front door and on the pavement, and also put in the wrong bin. A bit sad for Mrs L that this wasn't cleared up for her at the time, but nonetheless, Leo and I were very happy to help. I did some sweeping, whilst Leo had the more onerous task of transferring everything from the recycling to the general waste bin. It didn't take very long at all and we were able to gave a good chat with Mrs L as we worked and for a little while afterwards. It sounded like she has lived an interesting life and could probably have told us many more stories! It also sounded like she sometimes struggles to get enough support, so we really hoped that having had some GoodGymers to help will let her know that she does have some good neighbours.

Great to meet you Leo, and thank you for the pun! Hopefully see you on another one day :)
