The title might have given it away a little... the subject of this weeks Parkini challenge was indeed bingo! Using a recently learn trick on Excel/Sheets, the computer did (almost) all the work creating random bingo cards, with 'locations' replacing the usual numbers.

As per Parkini rules, the run/walk/ride can be done at any time, any place that suits, with pictures (preferbly selfies) as 'proof', the aim to complete a line or row... or multiple ones for those feeling up to it!

No surprise that there were different approaches, from targeting locations with card in hand to snapping everything in sight to match to the card afterwards.

  • Chi went out for another shot the next day even, determined to find more!
  • Linda dragged her poor son a mile or so out of the way to be able to snap some more locations.
  • Jenny was very colour-coordinated with mask matching top.
  • Sharon got in nice & early on Friday
  • Dharmesh always seems to look cool even running in the heat
  • Julia S got very close to her total target, just the one missing?
  • James went round with a smile on his face.
  • Kristian sneaked in a lovely compact round on the Sunday
  • unfortunately something came up for both Sarah-Jane & Liz which meant they couldn't join in in the end, although Liz did manage to grab a shot of an icecream van...

So to the results.... Everyone deserves compliments, all managed several lines / columns, with several people closing in on a full card! I did not check pictures vs cards, so will be taking peoples word how things went... did anybody actually get a full card? Jenny gets bonus kudos for mixing our little home into it, but I guess if there is a top prize it would go to Chi for sheer effort in 2 Parkini runs in the heat.

Anyone up for planning next weeks challenge?
