When I got to the station I noticed that the planters under the bridge were nicely watered whereas the ones outside desperately needed some water! Of course there was a bit of litter which made me a bit bitter even though it wasn't too bad just lots of cigarette butts in a couple of planters - why do people insist on doing it when there is a perfectly good cigarette butt bin handing just a meter a way?! Anyways I've taken them all out and then got on with the job of properly watering the planters that were dry. The flowers are still looking great so it was very pleasing to soak them up so that they continue to thrive!

A satisfying job doing something nice in my neighbourhood!

I forgot to take the photos so instead attaching a pretty photo of a parrot tulip - maybe we can get some bulbs for next year's display!

This is a resident and station led project to create a place that is lovely for locals to walk through with planters full of flowers and everygreens.
