Find out about GoodGym TaskForce

Mrs E's daughter was on hand this morning to project manage Sarah and I through the various levels of challenges that she had in store for us at her mother's home...the overall aim was to move a chest of drawers, small ottoman storage unit and a 1950s wardrobe from upstairs in her mother's bedroom down into the front room to create more space in the bedroom and enable her mother to come home from hospital.
However, even before we could start the main event, the warm up involved clearing enough space in the front room to store said furniture, as we discovered that this room was full of bags and other items that had been emptied from the drawers, wardrobe and storage unit upstairs...after a successful game of black bag Tetris, it seemed we'd created enough space in the corner to move the furniture down.
Fortunately the units were both empty and pretty light - the biggest challenge came in navigating the wardrobe along the narrow corridor and down the stairs without one or other of us becoming trapped or sliding down the stairs...success...and once that was done it was a quick case of refitting drawers and moving everything else to where Mrs E's daughter wanted it...and leaving her niece to do the post game tidy up with brush in hand.
