What a glorious day for a run along the river Thames. The GoodGym team were out in force today as Windsor and Maidenhead were joined by the crew from Slough to race the passenger boats up and down the river. The music was blaring, the faces were smiling and the runners were ready.

The event started with a short 1 mile children's fun run with over 70 runners taking part. Kids from 4 to 14 years of age stormed The Brocas to a roar of cheering from the adults. The quickest time was under 6 minutes and very nearly caught up the lead (adult) runner! Everyone got medals and a huge pat on the back. Then it was the turn of the adults (and sharks - see pics). All of the volunteers were so cheerful and supportive; a big thank you to the local running club the Datchet Dashers for supporting the event providing everything from registration to marshaling and clear up.

Well done to all the GoodGymers who took part and special thanks to MilesGommeImages for our excellent photos.
