I started by trimming back the unruly hedge line that Ms R was feeling overwhelmed by, and was encroaching on usable space and blocking the light into the garden and kitchen.

I soon discovered (and recognised from my tutorlage at Thor Lands) that the real culprit was the bindweed that had sneakily been winding it's way up and forming large sun-blocking clumps in the sky.

With the bindweed dutily confined to the bin, and other branches and greenery added to the pile behind her shed, Ms R now has more space and light. (Cf. Before and after!)
