Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Maxine VSG
After playing around with Angela's virtual background and some technical difficulties with passwords and audios not connecting, we finally managed to go around and introduce ourselves as we had two lovely tourists! Jenny from Greenwich & New Jo from Tower Hamlets (named aptly as we had both Joooo (A.K.A Jo North) & Dr Jo (A.K.A Jo South) online as well!
The quiz was St. George themed thanks to Judy who loves a good fancy dress and showed up with saucepan & pie tin armor, along side her buddy - the handmade sock dragon! Very impressive and somehow she did not scare away our visitors ;)
As most people only know St. George's name and that he slayed a dragon.. the rounds actually revolved around famous Georges, famous dragons and movies containing them! Some people struggled, not being big fantasy movie fans while others had answers on the tip of their tongues. I may have severely annoyed Val who could not remember George Michael and after saying "How to Train Your Dragon" in a previous round.. could not get it as an answer in the final one!
There was also a pre-quiz GoodGym round sent out before hand. This round was all about GoodGym Portsmouth's group runs, so our newcomers automatically received 5 points out of 10 for that round (an average of the Portsmouth based people's answers - I will not name and shame those who got low scores in this one)!
In the end it was Lynn who took the trophy with a whopping 27/41! Congrats and well done on knowing your Georges & Dragons!
