SESSION ORGANISER
Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Belinda Robinson
Tonight’s second session helping The Friends of St Botolphs picked up where the first had left off, with Ricky staying on for a double to be joined by Paul, Anne and Belinda. It was lovely to have a crossover with the first team to celebrate Paul’s 100th GoodGym good deed with yet another fabulous needle felting from John, inspired by Paul’s Pride outfit & love of cooking! This months GoodGym theme is transformations and between the two teams we transformed another section of the grounds at St Botolphs. Just round the corner from where we uncovered the font some months back, today we were uncovering the lost rockery & were so excited with our find we couldn’t resist a little GG inspired photo before it all gets planted up. As we were packing up the tools and about to say our goodbyes a minor drama ensued as Sue from the Friends couldn’t find her car key (sound familiar Julia?) Tools & wheelbarrows were swiftly unpacked, bags emptied but no sign. Hoping it hadn’t been swept up into the compost heap, Sue started retracing her steps round the church whilst we continued the search & then the eureka moment as she realised where she had safely stored the key - in her bra of course! Not to be outdone, Ricky also had a lost and found success (again with an element of deja vu!) - having lost his gloves from his running belt whilst running to the task, after carefully retracing his steps home the gloves were found!
