Share the love

We had heard from the SHP allotment helpers that the lock on their shed had jammed. So we went armed with Eds universal door opener (a crow bar) and quickly obtained access.

Having liberated the watering cans we made our way to the water butt and gave each other suspicious sideways glances but then realised that the foul smell was actually a dead fox in its den 😢

Due to the extraordinarily hot weather we were going to just do the watering and leave but our sun hats were keeping us comfortable so we weeded and turned over one of the raised beds then utilised the cardboard kindly provided by GGR member James C as a permeable weed sheet.

We sorted out a new lock for the shed and decided to call it a day.

Well done for getting out there in the heat of the day, and not getting arrested.
