Nine runners went on an adventure around Farlington Marshes for a sunny training run. Today we focused on our breath and moving it deep into our tummies and away from shallow chest breaths. It was a nice opportunity to think about how we breath when we run naturally then we could experiment with what felt good. We practiced counting our breaths, 2 counts in and 2 counts out and our final push was counting our breath whilst sprinting. On the run back we went at our individual paces and practiced in our own way to find what felt good for each of us. Finally we stretched out and headed home.
