On a warm September evening, 2 GoodGym runners arrived to help tend to the new planters at Brockley train station.

We were met by the lovely Anita from Energy Garden who gave us some background to their work at the station. After collecting a watering can from the ticket office and being let through the barriers by the friendly staff we set to work pruning each of the planters and giving them a good watering. It was certainly much needed after the last few days of warm weather!

Maintaining a safe social distance from each other, commuters on their way home and fast moving trains required some concentration, but we rose to the challenge! After half an hour of care and attention all of the plants were looking beautiful.

Great work team! The planters really do brighten the commuters’ day.
