Unfortunately there was no beer involved in this workout, although I am sure some of the GoodGymers lived up to our reputation of treating ourselves once they finished.
This week was Week 1 of GoodGym Bristol's Weekly Fitness Challenge. Over the course of us not being able to be together, the Bristol GoodGymers will have the chance to get a sweat on from afar.
To start us off, we had a spicy bum-burner via 10 rounds of 10 burpees and 20 squats for time. It sounds horrible (it was), but the GoodGymers turned out in force and did not let that put them off. Even Pink Panther joined in.
For anyone who didn't think it looked horrible enough, the workout could be added to by jumping over an object for the burpees and Tim and Chris got creative using a foam roller.
The foam rollers were not the only obstacles added: Alice did the session in dungarees and Dave had a ringing phone to sort out throughout his workout. Oh, and not forgetting the small obstacle of trying to do it quietly enough to keep our neighbours sweet for the next few weeks of lockdown (sorry about that, Jenny!).
Everyone did absolutely brilliant times, with Matt, Alice and Richard B all finishing within 13 seconds of each other!
Massive well done everyone!!
