The mission was to try and clear as much rubbish as possible from the bushes outside Kings Park school.
It's an area I run past everyday and rather than go solo, Daryl and Laura joined to make the task way more enjoyable and to get things done quickly!
With a bin bag and litter picker each we waded into the bushes and soon lost eye contact with each other.
There were years and years worth of rubbish back there, and after about 40 minutes of non-stop, bent over picking we filled three bags and left the area looking amazing.
Let's hope the "tossers" use the bin that's 3m away from now on, rather than toss rubbish in the bushes!!
Have you got a problem area near yours? Let me know and we can get a team together to tackle it!
