General bushwhacking tasks at the Nuns Moor Park volunteer morning!

Seb and Lucy were met by Jo, Mitsy the dog and a handful of other regular volunteers, where they started by cleaning a tree's feet of excess growth (see before and after pictures).

After clearing the area, they headed over to the raspberry patches to clear dead stems and provide Mitsy with attention. As the weather fluctuated between overcast, sunny and rainy, they spoke passionately of problems with society, and Mitsy spoke passionately of how she needed more pats - there was a lot of overlap in the conversations.

Regular food and growing activities, rooms for hire and much more

The Bike Garden is a vibrant community space developed on the site of a previous bowling green in Nuns Moor Park, which now serves the community as a place to join in on regular food growing activities, place to hire for private and public events, that may be regular or one-offs, and much more
