Bushwhackers
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Saturday, 25th of November 2017
A crisp Saturday morning in Belsize Park saw Lee-Ann and I meeting to help Mrs S our with her front garden.
Upon arrival, Mrs S entertained us with a lengthy chat before setting us loose on an 8-feet tall bush. What looked like a straightforward trimming job was a lot harder in practice as the branches were thick and spiky while the clippers provided by Mrs S had seen better days.
Not to be beaten, we set to work for over an hour with Mrs S monitoring our progress through the front window. 5 bags full later and the bush was a lot smaller although not as low as she wanted. Another GoodGym Mission is on the schedule at which a chainsaw will be required!
