Geography, politics, movies and music were just some of the topics in this week's Swindon GoodGym weekly quiz hosted by Charles. However before the quiz commenced and as we are now into summer, the icebreaker was simple - staycation or vacation? (okay, holdays as we are in the UK). With the current pandemic, dreams of exotic locations were just those - dreams - as overseas travel plans were binned in favour of Centre Parcs, canal boats and back gardens.

The quiz then followed and at the end, scores were tallied up - would someone finally beat our quiz maestro Stuart? Out of the blue Teresa was in the lead only to be pipped by Paul by half a point, when suddenly from the back overtaking everyone by a huge margin, yes king of the quizzes himself, Stuart, once again romped home by a huge margin way ahead of everyone else. Well done sir!

Before we all left and we look forward to Teresa's quiz next week - will we finally get more than a cameo glimpse of the elusive Mr Sugden - we had time to wish Gina (Swindon Virtual parkrun Run Director Extraordinaire) good luck as she makes her acting debut in a promo event being funded by the Swindon based Zurich Insurance. I'm sure she won't let the fame go to her head (but I've heard she's already charging for autographs!!!)
