Report written by Windsor and Maidenhead runner
On a rain-soaked morning, 4 Goodgymmers turned up to help out at Braywick Heath Nurseries. Luckily, taskowner Ben had an indoor task planned for us. We had a good workout moving trays of pots onto trollies, wheeling them to the polytunnel and arranging them on tables to grow on until the outside area is ready for them. This task happened to coincide with Laura's 50th Good Deed, so in Goodgym tradition, we took a break for tea, cake and a medal ceremony. Well done, Laura, on achieving this milestone in so short a time - we're so pleased you have joined us and love your company Amy sent this message: Congratulations and well done on reaching 50 good deeds with GoodGym! Through all your social visits and community missions, you have made a big difference in our area. I love reading your social visit reports. They are always so positive and uplifting. I hope you enjoy celebrating with Sheila, Rachel and Angela and feel proud of your achievements. Here’s to the next 50! Amy x
We run a not-for-profit company, supported by paid staff & community volunteers to provide volunteering, work experience and employment for adults with a wide range of support needs. We are currently having a big clear out across our site, and need help moving all of the material to a skip. This will enable us to better use the space we have to expand our operations and better support our volunteers and staff.
