Report written by Bristol runner
This task followed on immediately from the morning task run to Bramble Hill Farm.
We had been asked by Changing Tunes, a charity that uses music and mentoring to help people who've been in prison to live positive and meaningful lives, to help them set up a stage and put out chairs in a hall ready for a special community concert that they were putting on that evening.
So Jack, Liam, David and myself were joined by Alex and Richard to run from Roll For The Soul up Christmas Steps and then on to and up St Michaels Hill, including lots of steps (stairways :-)), into Redland to the Parish Church Hall, where we met the wonderful Lizzie and her team.
WIth the musicians and sound technicians sorting out the area around the stage, we got stuck into moving all the chairs into place in the hall.
Within minutes, Jack had nailed the pun for the task, surprisingly his first given it's quality - well worth waiting for Jack!
After 40 minutes we had got the required number of chairs in place and were rewarded with coffee and choccy biccies, before heading back (with a little detour thrown in for good measure) for our delayed lunch and beverages.
Nice work gang!
