It was milestone time for Linda who has surpassed 50 good deeds and Ash who has surpassed 200 last night! Huge congrats to you both and thanks for all of your help and contributions to the group!

This week was a new location for us, we headed to meet Sustrans Simon and Yvonne on the 5 Weirs walk, a really beautiful part of the Trans Pennine Trial (TPT) that unfortunately with recent weather has become flooded and loats of debris in the form of sand, wood and litter has left the route in a state of sorry affairs.

We got straight to work, grabbing brushes, snow ploughs, spades and litter pickers to clear the path and make it safe and useable once again. The main part of the task was at a section under a road bridge which was deep in sand. By the time we were done a channel had been created so this was once again useable for all users.

On route back we went back via a beautifully lit section of the 5 Weirs Walk and took in the Spiders bridge for some 'Spider squating' action for tonights fitness session.

Until next week, happy running :)
