Chasing Pavements Part II
2 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Windsor and Maidenhead.
- Tuesday, 9th of November 2021
- Led by Windsor and Maidenhead runner
Rekha and Sheila met with Lydia on a beautiful sunny November morning to help clear the pavement at the Courthouse Road/Bath Road junction of invading shrubbery. Amy and Tessa had represented GoodGym the day before at the same task, so we were keen to continue the great works. Once we had twigged that our task owner had already set to work around the corner, we didn't beat around the bush, but got straight to work with loppers, cutting back the offending branches. We were joined by 4 other concerned local residents, so progress was swift. Several dumpy bags later, the access had been improved considerably, and who knew that there was a fire hydrant hiding in the undergrowth? The quest continues next Monday - sign up here to join in the fun.
