Good to see Mr D cars today, and he was on good form after taking some gentle teasing for turning me away last week. His face lights up when he knows I’m pulling his leg and we were soon making the tea together ready and chatting about our week. Starting to talk about buying and returning clothes on the internet Mr D amused me with a take from his younger days. He had bought a fishing rod 🎣 and went fishing the next day…and wasn’t very good and ended up catching nothing. The following day he took the rod back to the shop and asked for a refund. The guy asked him what the fault was and Mr D said he didn’t know what was wrong with it… But as it was a fishing rod and he didn’t catch any fish with it it must be faulty. And he chuckled as he told the man was so amused he gave him a full refund! 😂
