Four Goodgymmers, Daryl, Mohammed, Keith and Lea, got down to some more painting today. Oh well, and cleaning and shoving and pulling and shopping. The belfry, yikes that’s…. high, going by the moans and sighs of Daryl. Long stepladder without a platform meant up and down and up and down for him. The “oh no” was meant for the tin of paint literally swinging on the belfry hatch rope. Quite a feat, Daryl! Mohammed painted round the radiators and doors at first and then the radiator itself with Lea trying to be helpful by rolling paint onto parts difficult to get to. But a bit too enthusiastically: broken roller… (what with the broken fork and spades, Goodgym is in danger of getting a bad reputation!) Anyway shopping for a “corner roller” and some terps was a task for Keith. Then we all got down on our knees to clean the floor and then up again to push fridges etc back in their place. Belfry is certainly looking too good for the bats now!
