I attended the East Finchley cherry tree wood festival with the prospect of helping our Goodgym host the Phoenix Cinema... it was terrific fun! They had a table promoting their community outreach program. Of course this involves Goodgym Barnet who run from the Phoenix every Tuesday night. Goodgym Barnet is also supporting and featuring in their community film project called 1 Sunday Morning, 4 Films: Doing Good In Finchley (10th July 11am)

This is featuring aspiring filmmakers making films on local charities that do good in Finchley.

You can buy tickets direct from the Phoenix Cinema all proceeds going to the charities involved.

The festival seemed to be bustling and literally bulging with people, music, food and entertainment. A great success for all those involved in organising and taking part.
