On a bitterly chilly night in East London, three of Goodgym Redbridge's finest runners met to do good and ran almost 6km in the process.

With the mecury falling and severe delays on the Central Line, a skeleton crew met at Wanstead House Community Association to get fit and do good in the local neighbourhood. With the planned task cancelled due to the bad weather, the decision was taken to run first and then head back to 'The House' to help with the upkeep of the premises.

The team set out on the 6km route around Eagle Pond and in an effort to keep the cold at bay ticked off the miles in double quick time. All that left was 30 minutes of tidying at the front of the house to keep the never ending leaf fall at bay and keep the House looking in tip top shape.

Big shout out to Kathryn who joined us on her first run but also brought all her paper work and is on the way to becoming a Coach Runner - great work Kathryn.

Fancy getting involved. Check out next week's task here
