Chipping away at it
6 GoodGymers made their way 7.0km to help the Friends of Leagrave Park in Luton.

Another bank holiday meant plenty of spare time for an additional group run. So we met up at a different location from usual to focus our entire session in Leagrave Park.
We started with a short run in the park, as several of us were recovering from Sunday's 10k efforts or nursing little niggles that we didn't want to push.
Then we tried out the new fitness equipment installed in the park, setting up a little circuit that included obstacles, sit-ups, press-ups, ankle stability and foam rolling.
Once we'd done that we ran on to our task for the Friends of Leagrave Park, shifting wood chips from a pile onto the woodland path, with secret wheelbarrow interval training back and forth combined with shoveling for upper body training.
We got a huge section done by swift shuttling of the barrows but with the light fading, had to call it a day with just meters to go!
