Share the love

Alice and Jess spent the morning helping out at the baby bank. They are still running their Christmas pyjama appeal which provides a gift bag of new pyjamas, a book and some chocolate to any of the kids referred to the baby bank. It was amazing to see the generosity of the local community but also a stark reminder of the quantity of kids in need in the area. Alongside the pyjama appeal normal referrals still need to be processed and the donations sorted. Alice and Jess spent sometime sorting through the clothes and ensuring they were suitable for going to a new home.

There are lots of chances to get involved with helping at the Baby Bank, just check out the listings.

Providing essentials to families in extreme need

The Baby Bank collects donations of good quality clothes, equipment, and furniture to help families in extreme need. They provide essentials ranging from everyday items like nappies, and wipes to larger items like cots. They support families beyond the baby stage, for example with school uniform. They aim to give all children the best possible start in life.
