Christmas Wishes
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Windsor and Maidenhead.
- Saturday, 24th of December 2022
Today I went to pay a visit to Mrs D. We got chatting and discussed what has been happening since my last visit. She then showed me a huge hamper full of goodies her daughter had prepared for her, and everything else all ready and prepared for Christmas, including her Christmas lunch, waiting in the fridge. Then she was telling me she couldn't remember how to spell my name, so I happily obliged and wrote it down for her. Then I noticed a Christmas card that was waiting to be written on, neatly waiting on the kitchen bench. I asked what that was for and, Mrs D, with a twinkle in her eyes, said that it was for me!! ... So she carefully wrote my name on it and signed it, adding her lucky four kisses too! Thank you so much, Merry Christmas Mrs D! xxxx
