Churn after weeding
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.
- Sunday, 17th of February 2019
Aidan, Samuel and I met on a scorching February day to do some gardening for Ms S. On arrival, her daughter supplied us with a variety of tools and we got stuck in.
Goodgym had been before and it was clear which half of the garden they'd already tackled! We did our best to emulate their work on our half, and we left it looking almost as nice. The big weeds were easy enough but the little ones required a bit more work, and we resorted to churning up the ground with a mini rake to try and get them all.
An enjoyable mission, topped off by beautiful views as we headed down the hill on the way home in the sunshine.
