Trainer Simon was joined by busy teacher Ernestas last night for our weekly cleaning of the Packington Gallery Foodbank (in collaboration with The Arc Centre). Our first task was to make sure that a friendly neighbourhood cat didn't follow us into the food bank, and cause trouble!

We gave the space a good sweep, sanitised all of the immediate surfaces and made sure that the area was safe and accessible for other volunteers. The gallery being painted at the moment, so lots of supplies have been moved around to facilitate this. We then gave the whole place a really good mop (quite a bit of mud and dirt had settled on the floor during the decoration project), and used a large fan to dry up the wet surfaces before our evening meet-up.
