Report written by Brahma Pochee
An ultra elite 10 strong team whipped down the Lea to help our friends at a local primary school.
But first we discussed how cold it was (not that much), the numerous methods to adorn a buff (paired with visual presentations), and this week's RWQ "What's your favourite animated film?" We had Up, South Park, How to Train a Dragon and Watership Down (just googled this, I was expecting a marine/war film...) and multiple others. My lack of ability to remember any ones choice is inextricably linked to my lack of animation film knowledge, soz.
Anyway - off we danced into the 'relatively' cold night, Paul welcomed us, we got warm, before getting to business. Moving the most awkward desks ever designed, cleaning a class room with some potent sprays and shifting some bits out to the bins. Four guys ably moved the desks, it looked hard, it looked awkward. They persisted on and brought over two from the other building, The rest of us sprayed, wiped and cleared. With Mel and Mary taking charge of the restructuring process. Careful not to spray any of the 1970's cleaning products any where near ourselves, we finished up in the 'fresh' smelling room, wrapping up our work for the eve.
That's our last task at the school till 2020, but you guys made a huge difference this year. Two sessions to go until we take a wee christmas break. See you next week at Cody Dock and then the 18th for task + social (xmas drinks etc)
Have a supreme weekend peeps and speak soon
