Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Craig Barber (He/him)
Today 3 GoodGymers and 2 local volunteers helped clear a path for the community to reclaim. The before and after pictures speak for themselves, a lovely task in the evening sun!
A group of residents have asked for help to clear some of the fast growing weeds (digging them up) so that they don't continue to take over the beds. Once these weeds are clear, residents will feel more able to plant and look after these community beds. The beds cover a large area and keeping on top of these beds can feel overwhelming. The residents want this to be a beautiful space that attracts wildlife. Some work was done in the summer to cut down the giant weeds, to stop the seeds spreading. Help is now needed to dig them up and remove them, so that there is space for beautiful wild flowers to be planted in the Spring. Thank you so much.

Exeter
The MMAA has around 100+ tenants on both sites combined. The Mincinglake site currently has no shared facilities, and we have been trying to move forward with a project to create a wildlife area, an amenity shed, and a seating area for social acitivites.
