On another glorious May day in Bristol, Deb and I met Mr B's partner, who's own lawn had received the GoodGym treatment just the day before!

She got us set up with a nifty little machine and Deb set off on the first (much coveted) mowing shift. Meanwhile, I got stuck in with some weeding and "hand strimming" the borders while chatting away to our host and meeting the household's 20 something year old cockatoo in his lovely garden aviary (though he wasn't amused by having his Sunday disturbed by our blazing red shirts).

After helping break down some cardboard boxes (otherwise to be left for the rain to do the job), we headed to the front where we tidied up the lawn, weeded and swept the drive, and cleared the side alley of ivy and leaves.

After a couple of warm hours' work we left Mr B, his partner and a very full green bin to rest in the afternoon's sun.
