In the misty rain of Brixton, Rebecca, Tim and Sam met to tackle Mr. A's mission. The mission, which they all chose to accept, was to move out a sofa and an armchair in order to create a microenvironment for when Mr. A would come out of hospital.

After knocking on the door several times, the relative of Mr. A opened the door and welcomed us in. The GoodGymers (GGers) navigated their way through the curtain (un)drawn flat, downstairs to where the unloved furniture was waiting for them. Noticing that the stairs were narrow, the relative kindly opened the door to the back (and overgrown) garden. From there the GGers could take the furniture out through the garden door leading onto the streets of the estate. This is where they left the furniture, to be picked up by the council. However, if you are looking for a decent (and probably wet) sofa and armchair... Then take a walk around Brixton 😉

It couldn't have been a quicker task, as the three GGers managed to clear the space within 10-15 minutes (no one was timing...)

It was a great task for Sam's first ever mission; helping a person in need! He managed to get a taste of what these missions are like and he couldn't have done it in better company!
