Last financial year, Ealing foodbank provided three-day food parcels for 42,336 people. So to paraphrase the words of a supermarket chain 'every little donation helps!'
Thanks to Kash, Sevan and Madhan for their shopping photos! With lots on this week, I had to settle for a donation via the website, for the foodbank to use to buy the items they need.
We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
