Today, 4 members of Coventry GoodGym helped sort stock for the Social Supermarket.

When we arrived, we were fully briefed about how to maintain safe social distancing and the jobs that needed completing.

We soon set about counting stock in the cold stores and ensured that fresh produce was divided up into family sized portions. Later that morning, the FairShare order arrived and we soon set about getting the stock unpacked and into chillers. We divided up packs of chicken, eggs and blue berries into smaller portions ready for the opening of the supermarket tomorrow.

We also made up bags of food parcels; full of provisions and lovely healthy produce for those in need. Brilliant work everyone.
